The culmination of two years of work, "Optimistic Tragedies" is an exploration of the discovery of hope and resiliency amidst hardship. A documentation of the persistent yearning that follows tragedy and our navigation of it through time. Expressed through landscapes and the subjects that inhabit them, each piece is an ode to the fleeting moments of sanctity. The searching of solace within our minds, a tethering to nature. A slow return to innocence.
